Your first AI query

A handful of hotkeys, two modes. That's the whole thing.

Hotkeys

Defaults below. Rebind any on your dashboard → Settings.

`Ctrl`+`Alt`+`O`	Show / hide the overlay
`Ctrl`+`Alt`+`X`	Add the current screen to the screenshot buffer (up to 5)
`Ctrl`+`Alt`+`S`	Send buffered screenshots to the AI. In Chat, your typed text goes too.
`Ctrl`+`Alt`+`T`	Toggle typing mode (Chat only)
`Ctrl`+`Alt`+`Q`	Quit Tavra

Modes

Discreet — one shot per hotkey, no memory. Fast.
Chat — multi-turn thread with screenshots + text. History sticks until you quit.

Switch modes on the dashboard: Settings → Modes.

Built-in shortcuts

Two shortcuts are hardcoded and can't be rebound.

`Ctrl`+`Alt`+`M` — Move / resize the overlay

Toggles manipulation mode: a drag handle appears, drag to move, corners to resize. Press again to exit.

Set your position before you start. While it's on, the overlay stops being click-through — clicks land on Tavra instead of passing through to whatever's underneath. Position it, exit manipulation mode, then get going.

`Ctrl`+`Wheel` — Scroll the overlay's content

Scrolls the chat log (Chat mode) or the answer text (Discreet mode).

Cursor must be over the overlay. If it's over a browser / PDF / document, Ctrl+Wheel zooms that instead — most apps use the same shortcut.

You're done when…

You pressed Ctrl+Alt+S, an answer appeared in the overlay.
