Tavra won't launch
You double-clicked Tavra.exe and nothing happened. Run through these in order — the first two catch most cases.
1. Real-time Protection is on
Tavra needs Real-time Protection off at the moment you launch. Windows auto-turns it back on after a while, so if you toggled it off yesterday, it's on today.
Fix: Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → toggle Real-time protection off. Launch Tavra right after.
2. You skipped a step in Prep your PC
Memory Integrity or the Vulnerable Driver Blocklist is still on.
Fix: re-do Prep your PC. Reboot when it asks.
3. You didn't reboot after Prep
Memory Integrity and the Blocklist only apply after a restart.
Fix: reboot. Try again.
4. Riot Vanguard is running
If Valorant / Riot Vanguard is installed and running, its driver conflicts with Tavra's and can crash your PC.
Fix: right-click the Vanguard tray icon → Exit Vanguard. Reboot. Launch Tavra. Don't open Valorant while Tavra is running.
5. Your Windows build is too new
New Windows 11 builds sometimes ship changes that break Tavra. There's usually a short window before we've caught up.
Fix: check your dashboard for supported builds. If yours isn't listed, hang tight and try again in a day.
